Long episodes
Long files are processed in pieces and the transcript appears as it goes. Keep the tab open until it finishes. On a laptop without a graphics card, an hour of audio can take a while, so start with the Balanced setting.
From transcript to show notes
Copy the text into your editor, pull out the key moments, and use the SRT timestamps to link to points in the episode.
Questions
Does it tell speakers apart?
Not yet. The transcript is continuous text, split into paragraphs at pauses.
Can I paste a link to my episode?
Yes, if the link points straight to the audio file and the host allows it. Otherwise download the file first.
Is my unreleased episode safe?
Yes. It is processed on your device and never uploaded.
