Quietscribe is built so that we never receive your files. Audio and video you choose are opened by your browser and processed on your own device. They are not uploaded to us or to anyone else.

To run the speech recognition, your browser downloads an open-source AI model from Hugging Face and the page code from jsDelivr the first time you use a tool. These services see a normal web request, like any website you visit, but they never receive your file or your transcript.

The site remembers your accuracy setting in your browser's local storage. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

Visitor statistics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It uses no cookies and does not track you across websites. It records basic, anonymous details such as which page was opened, the country the visit came from, and the type of browser and device. It never sees your files or transcripts.

If we add advertising in the future, this page will be updated first to explain what is collected and how to opt out.
